I do not plan on changing any thing on the engine, consider it done. I want to change from the two restrictive trimmed down S&h air cleaners to a fresh air system that uses a carb hat or plenum, that is then ducted to a remote , less restrictive air filter. One plenum is desired but two single plenums could work, If they would fit two inline four bbl. carbs. No blower or turbo, just fresh air from a less restrictive air filter, probably located in the nose Infront of the radiator. Searching online is going no where . My responses have been single plenum with dual inlet tubes.
All the carb mounted air cleaner will require coming up through the hood and actually more than will fit within the present hood scoop. Then you have the distributer getting rain . I have been caught out in some pouring rain in the car. I can get wet but not the distributor. The distributor gets rained on, the car stopes, and I get even more wet. So the air system first then another hood.
does any one know of a single plenum that will fit two inline four bbl.'s, or will two single plenums both fit near to each other?
