I have come to the reality that the reason it has not been done before is because you can't. Remember, I'm working with old technology Carbs, dual fours. I did some measuring my self and have come to the conclusion that a 4 or 5" hose would not let a hood close even a little, because of the pent roof valve covers. going forward to Infront of the radiator would be another problem as there is a lot going on in that area. So I'm back to an dual four air cleaner on top of the carbs. Might as well go big as it will need a new hood design.
