figured out from my buddy Patrick that the name on the rheostat is "TankCraft", a company in Wisconsin. From the website, they made/make fuel tanks, so maybe they made the fuel tanks for the Classic Roadsters...

Other research revealed that the fuel sender seems to fail due to a bad ground (probably from corrosion).

I'll post back here once we get this issues sorted.
