Before I bought my car, I asked about how hard the steering would be without power steering and was told it was not too hard above a couple of miles an hour. I accepted this as part of the 'race car' aspect of driving the car which was the allure. My experience has been that the steering while parking is a real challenge but is true to what I expected. A side benefit may be that it is physical exercise for my arms although they don't appear to be adding the muscle that I would like given the effort expended.
