Oh Jim, I could give you a line about only wanting to race small bore cars (Momentan cars) how fun it was to beat large bore, with little motors
But that would be nothing more than BS
I had a chance to race a 67 427 Vette coupe for a weekend (looking to buy) Well, as I got used to the torque & power of this big block, coming out of turn 9 @ Pacific Raceways (110+mph, 3rd gear) the clutch started slipping (Damn now I owe Jack a new clutch) Then lo and behold, I look in the mirror and I'm SPINNING the rear tires
If I was still married and had her as my sponsor, then maybe
16gal 1/4 drums were pricey of 109 VP, can't think of going though 55gal barrel a race weekend.
