Default Slabside clock installation

I'm adding two items I overlooked when ordering ERA 3014: the lighter and the clock.

The lighter is easy.

The space where the clock goes is bisected by part of the dash support immediately behind the panel; there's no remotely correct location that would completely dodge this obstruction.

The primary structure of the support is a 3/4 x 3/4" aluminum C-section that runs about 3" behind the rear face of the dash panel. This clears the clock just fine without any alteration. But one flange of the C extends all the way up to the dash, which is riveted to it in the driver and passenger sections. In the drop section, where the clock goes, the extended flange almost touches the dash but is not fastened to it. This could be relieved to clear the clock, albeit with a good bit of material removed.

How does ERA install the clock at the factory?
