Jim,

Long covid is a fact, sadly, I am afflicted with it after getting covid before the vaccines came out. Frustrating at times, as you have a perfectly good thought in the middle of a conversation, and then between your brain and your lips, it's gone, or you pause long enough that it's gone forever. Or you are talking about going out to breakfast at your favorite restaurant, one you have been going to for 10+ years on almost a daily basis, but the name does not come to mind, even though you can picture the sign in your head. Much worse than my ADHD has ever affected me...Like nothing I've ever experienced in my life. I feel for your friend, as even with my family connections in the healthcare field, there is little, if nothing found that can assist in treating the issue, other than for the affected individual to hit it head on and try to work on a solution themselves in some way shape or form.
