As a young man out of college, my dream was owning a GT350 if which I wasn't able to afford at the time and settled on a Tiger which to me was the next best thing that I could reach for. I remember putting away $100 a month or whatever I had available after rent was paid until I had accumulated enough to buy my first Tiger for $12,000 back in 1992. Many wrinkles and gray hairs later, I still love that little 2 seat convertible.

Realistically, it's not a full blown restoration, the car is a car that has been tracked in it's past, and I'm not changing any of the modifications, but enhancing them, mechanically it's at 90%, body wise it is 100% rust free, cosmetics, it's got it's chips and extremely minor scratches, interior/top 90+%, in my Tigers case it's the details like a working wiper set, horns, and heater/defroster that really need to be looked at. My worst case scenario is a replacement of the wiring harness, which I already have along with new Lucas switches. It's this worse case scenario I would need the extra space for. For now, I'll drive it as it is, doing minor upgrades here and there as my time and space allows.
