I don't know what kind of Cobra you have but if it is just rubbing on the one front fender and you have coil-overs you could probably adjust the ride height enough to make it clear. I did run 255-40-15 racing tires on mine I think it was and I never had a problem but I now have the 235-60-15s and I just adjusted my ride height by about a quarter of an inch and that took care of that. Just be careful about jacking weight around if you are running the car on a track.
