I am a firm believer in agressive cams in an FE, especially longer stroke like a 428. The 280H is mild, I run one in a 390 truck, I dont think you'll be happy. The 292 will be agressive, but should be fine in a light vehicle. If there is one between the two, it may be the way to go, but if it were mine I'd buy the 292

BTW I run a 306 in my Mustang and its streetable in a 427 and they are less tolerant with the shorter stroke (although its really radical, probably too much for yours)

The difference in mid range between the 292 and 270 will be amazing, that cam is WAY too small, even for a truck

Go for the 292 and it will be fun or if they have a 288 it would work too. My guide would be 240 degrees duration @ .050.
