Having been born and raised here in eastern Pa, this is all I know. But besides that the fact that you can't drive the Cobra in the winter, I kind of like the change of seasons. Yes, there are things about the dead of winter that suck, but I like a lot of things that go along with it. I don't mind the heat, but as I'm sure Chopper can tell you, it's the humidity out here that's unbearable at times.
But there are times here where it is just so hot, I'd just as soon leave the Cobra in the garage (I sweat easily). I couldn't imagine driving during the summer in your area.
One of my favorite vacation spots is Las Vegas. Two years ago, my wife and I went there on the first week of August. It was about 96 degrees when we stepped out of the hotel after breakfast. By mid-day, it had reached 114. Even without humidity, it was just baking. The blacktop was scorching. You could hear car tires sticking to it as they rolled. I couldn't imagine bringing the Cobra out during the day there. Now, at night, that would be a whole different story. If it were 90 degrees, no humidity and dark outside, I'd certainly take it out.
