I also ran the 306 cam in my 68 GT500KR and I absolutely loved it. However, brake vac was a bit on the low side....lol. But the bottom line was that the car ran like a raped ape. My Cobra has no power brakes so vac isn't an issue for me but I agree, go for as much cam as you can and still have it drivable. Remember, a good cam is one of the easiest ways, if not the easiest, to attain HP and Torque gains, just my opinion.
