I was following the discription of your problem until you got to the part of super glueing the two pieces togther ?????

Each of my sunvisors has two hinges. Each hinge is made up of three pieces... 1) the angle bracket that mounts to the windshield frame with two screws. 2) A "U" shaped bracket that mounts to the sunvisor with two screws. 3) A mounting block that attaches to the angle bracket (1 above) with one set screw, and also to the "U" shaped bracket with one screw that also acts as the hinge joint.

I can't see how you could loose one of those three pieces and super glue what's left together.

I know Enzo has hardware kits to install these sunvisors. They are not cheap hovever, but maybe you can call him to see if he'll break open a kit and sell you what you need.
