I'm running 37mm chokes, I haven't tried anything else. I use these primarily because Enzo strongly advised it. I guess anything is open to experimentation, but every time I try something other than what he recommended it turns out he was right.
I'm running 60 idles, 120 idle holders, f7 tubes, 155 mains and 200 air correctors. To get another 15 hp or so, I think the first place to look would be in the timing and air correctors; what do you think?
By the way, earlier I told you my heads had 1.88 intakes; I really thought they were. That was what I asked for, but I also asked for maximum flow in a street 289 head. Sherman just sent the flow bench data and it turns out he went to the 1.94s. Sorry for the misinformation.
