as has already been mentioned, you can add 2" of foam to lower seat cushions on older cars for more comfort, or upgrade to the new seats. I added the 2" of foam to my SPF #156 and have had no fatigue or back problems on two 5 hr one way trips. However, if your leg length is a problem (I am vertically challenged so no issue with me) then you should try a newer car with the recessed footwells. some taller folks manage to drive the older cars, some prefer the newer lowered footwell versions. you need to drive one of each and see for yourself. good luck. bill.
