I don't have hour figures. We get the bottom line bill from both our paint sublets, both of whom charge in the $3600-$4000 range. Of that, I think that there's about $1000 in paint and materials. (Jeez - I remember when we did bodywork in-house and paint only cost us $40/gallon. Now for some fancy stuff it could be $500 )

Either you or the body shop will have to disassemble the kit: Remove lights and windshield.

The seams all match pretty well, requiring a small coat of filler. The entire body should be blocked out but I don't think much filler is required to match panels. Everything fits pretty well. Our paint guys do some radiusing of the driver's compartment edges and finish the inside of the hood where the fiberglass is exposed.
