Thumbs up ERA #561 For Sale

Well..... I never thought this would happen.... I found another Cobra I'd rather have......no, I won't tell you what it is or where it is because I don't want the competition for purchasing it.

ERA #561 (one of the most looked at cars on this website) is only one of three ERA 427's (to my knowledge) ever built with the STREET configuration (no rollbar, no sidepipes, no hood scoop) It's got a real 427 Sideoiler with all the best parts that puts out 516HP to the rear wheels. I have a 1 inch stack of receipts that exceeds $80,000. The car now has just over 3000 miles, never raced, never over 5000 RPM.

If you want a Cobra 427 that you can drive for over an hour and still hear yourself think afterward -- this is your car. I've owned 5 Cobras now - this is the only 427 I've ever been able to stand to drive more than about 20 minutes without wanting to "get out" because of the sidepipe noise, smell and heat.

As new condition - proven show winner - meticulous exacting detail to original that has now won awards at two major Concours D'elegance showings.

The car is in Portland Oregon. Registered as a "1967 Cobra Replica". I will arrange (but not pay for) shipping in enclosed, insured carrier for under $2000 almost anywhere in the U.S. It came from Rockville Maryland to my place in Portland for that amount - took 6 days.

Many pictures and descriptions can be seen by clicking on the "photo gallery link" at the left.

$65,000 firm, no dreamers or time wasters please. Serious inquiries to:
