I agree with the jist of your comments. We don't need to be voting where in the world each of us would like the event to be. Rather, we need to be choosing from among the events that someone has volunteered to arrange. So far, it looks like there is only one event on the table - yours. So my vote, as of today, goes to your proposal. Thanks for volunteering to take this on.
