Default Roll Bar Harness Mount

I bought mine from Enzo at Finish Line. But since I have a B&B Mfg kit and my roll bar is a little wider than the average Cobra (15 1/2" wide center to center) I used Enzo's mounting hardware and made me a cross bar from 3/4" thich wall round steel. I made two tabs about 2" wide and 1/4" thick and positioned them on either side of my shoulders and welded them to the bar. I also drilled 1/2" holes in my tabs for mounting my shoulder straps. I may have them all chromed some day but for now I just painted them semi-gloss black and everything looks great and works even better. When I first mounted my shoulder straps I mounted them behind the seat my shoulder straps would slide off my shoulders in hard turns.

If your roll bar is 141/2" wide or less Enzo has a perfect set-up for you made with a stainless steel cross bar. If yours is like mine the modification is simple and works extremely well.

Good luck and happy racing.
