hc,
It may depend on your fender shape (although the rubber ones fit all, of course) but I saw some satin-finish (?) stainless ones on an ERA at a Tuesday night cruise-in show last week. They are preferable to aluminum ones, which dent. They are "dressier" than rubber. The owner said that they'll bend to fit any fender-shape--and do this in an interesting way: the bottom lip wraps around the bottom of the fender/flare and has three small-wire self-tapping ss screws. The vertical body of the guards then presses hard and concentrically with the fender. The angle you add to the generic pre-bend of the lip determines how snug they press. He even invited me to use a finger nail to pry the guard free---it did come out a bit but snapped right back. He also said he used a little bead of clear caulking to ensure water didn't run down behind. He told me they came off a Cobra-specific aftermarket supply house on the internet. Good luck.
