Here's a reply from their dept when I asked the same sort of question on breakin and oil type.I was also told that if I had a dual spring to breaking with only the one installed and re-assemble the second after. I ran that by him as well.

"The typical 30W or 10W40 oil is just fine. As for the break in, the rule of thumb on the springs is correct, however it does depend on the pressures of the spring, if the cam can take it, you don't need to worry about it. If you are using our cam with our springs, you will be just fine, there is no need to remove any part of the spring to make this break in properly. the 30 minute break in is fine, you want the motor to run between 1500 and 2500 RPM's but never at one steady speed for too long, that will hurt the cam. fluctuate the RPM's back and forth.
