Viper V-10 question
At a car show last week, there was a Viper and a Countach. Both used injected crossram-type manifolds. The Countach's was clearly two separate plenums feeding the opposite bank of cylinders. The Viper's appeared to be the same, but had a flat connection at the very rear (top) of the manifold, or what appeared to be a flat connection of the two plenums.
Are the plenums of the Viper's V-10 crossram connected in any way? For MAP purposes? It definitely had two separate throttle-bodies. How does it handle idle-air-control? MAP if not connected plenums? Does it use one or two O2 sensors?
I saw no provision for idle-air-control on the Countach, though I'm not expecting any detailed info about that particular engine. But, knowing your installation of the V-10 into a Cobra, I was hoping you could help me out about it.
Thank you.
