no disrespect to csx 4027 who had an outstanding cobra before, now changed to a not as nice car by the new owner. but what do you get here ? a discount on a body that has to be custom fit to a frame of some other brand most likey. hood, trunk and doors are missing. no serial number so no provenance or heritage value. try to explain what the heck ya got when it is done, bits of this and that. now it is in storage somewhere taking up a large amount of space, not very saleable in present form to anyone other than another glass csx 4000 owner to replace a body that gets seriously damaged (doesnt happen often so odds are tough). this is a tough sell my friends. give the guy a break, let him get that thing out of storage and out of his hair, you in turn get a bargain body . seems fair to me. would rather be the buyer in this deal than the seller as it seems this could be owned AND STORED for a long time ! now, if you are doing track time with your car, especially a csx4000, this is a great spare to have 'at the ready' . this is a difficult sale. now the real question is: WHY WONT SAI OR ONE OF THEIR DEALERS BUY IT BACK FROM YOU ? seems it would certainly speed up delivery timing for any customer backlog ? just a thought . good luck sir. bill
