Thumbs up ERA #561 For Sale - New Thread!!!

I think Turk has an excellent idea - restarting my FOR SALE thread "clean" and asking folks to PLEASE NOT POST REPLIES TO IT!!

There is another thread regarding this car with comments "adnauseaum" that the curious with lots of time on their hands can review.

Here's the description from CobraCountry:

For Sale: ERA "Street" version 427 Cobra, Serial #561. British Racing Green. One of only three ERA cars ever produced in this configuration. Accurate reproduction of the street version (no sidepipes, hood scoop or rollbar). All the best equipment from the 427 sideoiler (billet rods, steel crank, forged pistons, remote oil cooler, roller rockers, Crane cam, aluminum heads, dual 660 Holleys, MSD Ignition, custom-made headers, stainless exhaust) to the special order close-ratio big-spline toploader 4-speed from David Kee, to the flawless 1997 Jaguar British Racing Green basecoat/clearcoat paint job to the true knockoff Halibrand Wheels
with polished spinners. The engine produces over 500 hp on pump premium gas. Even with the rear-exiting exhaust it still sounds REALLY MENACING! The nice thing about it is--no one has ever seen a 427 Cobra without the sidepipes--so they think it's an original. This car can be driven for hours without headache, ringing ears, exhaust smell, fatigue or burnt legs. I've owned two other ERAs with sidepipes and this one is just as fast, but shall we say is "more of a gentleman's Cobra." It has only 3000 miles, never raced or abused, and I never take it over 5000 rpm--don't need to, since it's blindingly fast! In the cockpit: leather interior, Smith's gauges (reverse speedo), heater, wipers & washer--and everything works. This is the finest "Street 427" replica ever built. ERA said the builder of this car is one of the most meticulous they've ever seen, and this was the third ERA Cobra he completed. It has won awards at two major Concours D'elegance showings and several top placings at other major shows. I have a 1-inch stack of receipts that go with the car, and a full soft top. I will assist in arranging insured transportation for you. Licensed as a 1967 Cobra replica. Replacement cost over $80,000 (over $20K in engine alone) Priced for quick sale at $65,000.
