I seem to remember reading about this somewhere, but can't find it again.
Q: If you start with the 390 block, what are the options for which crank(s) you could run ---- leading you to what final displacement? A 406 or a 410? Seems like this could make for a reasonable (i.e. -- not
too expensive) FE street motor that could really move. (Like with some warmed over Edelbrock heads, etc.). Guess I'm just hooked on those pent-roof valve covers...
