Thumbs down

I and two others entered our Cobra kit cars in the 2000 Goodguys show and nobody told us which is the better class we should enter as a kit car. The registration workers did not know what classes there were and so there is confusion. Instead, the Goodguys registration workers had us enter our cars in the muscle car class and we did not win any awards when we would have had a chance maybe in another class, like "homebuilt". Goodguys seem to cater primarily to exotic street rods, modified custom originals, concourse cars, and especially trucks in the competitions. No kit car won an award! Looking at the list of cars that won previous events last year and this year so far, a kit car has yet to win. Even though it was fun to look around and talk to all the vendors about their products, and see all the beautiful cars (mostly from out of state), the lack of helpfulness in the registration left me with a bad taste in my mouth where I will not enter my Cobra in the Goodguys show. Live and learn I guess...
