Question: Is it a solid color or metallic/pearl?
Typically dirt is color sanded and polished out however on some solid colors (white ect..) you will still see the dirt spect versus the bump. OEM states that their QC is a maximum of 5 spects per panel. Most shops will and do polish to eliminate orange peel and dirt.Here a standard 3M process:

1- Sand imperfections with 1500 to 2000g wet sand paper.
2- Using a buffer with a cutting pad: use 3M rubbing compound to remove sand scratches.
3- Using a foam pad: Use a foam pad polish to remove swirls left by compound.

4- Last use a hand glaze to bring out the gloss.

Drop by your local paint supply store and they will set you up with all the supplies.
