Shookie - My 544 with Blue thunder heads, brackets, damper and alternator, pulleys minus the V4 Vortech with a steel crank and no innercooler, weighed 545 lbs. Don't believe everthing you read. A iron FE is about 40 to 60 lbs lighter with comparative setups.
Mohuska- Let us know how your Force Fuel Injection setup works as I am looking at them. They have a "shortie" throttle body that is perfect for Cobras. The engine you described has a very familiar ring to me.
