On another thread, Kuhmo's have a decent 15".

I know you don't want to hear this, I didn't either, but the tires you want with the performance characteristics you want are to be had in 17" wheel sizes. And 17's don't look out of place on a Cobra.

My finalists were Brigestone RE 730's from Tirerack.com, and Falken FK451's from Vulcantire.com. Got the Falkens. They stick like glue dry, and in the rain. Corner with no squealing. No vibration or balance problems. And now with over 11,000 miles, no perceptable wear.

I'm a convert, and a believer. Old BFG T/A's can't hold a candle to these new 17's

Tip. Tirerack.com has a customer feedback forum. Read on before you plunk down your hard earned $$$ on name brands based on what the factory advertizing has to say. BFG, Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli didn't earn the best grades. But the lesser known brands, at least for performance tires, got the better scores and end user feedback.

I'm not even a tiny bit disappointed with these Falkens, would replace them with the exact same thing, and the price. Under $500 for the set of four, delivered.
