Crane Cams failure tech page

Note the "Click for closeup" places - see if one of them matches the appearance of your dead cam & lifters.

PS: I've had cam failure too so I know what's involved - mine was a defective Ford crate motor distributor that ate the gear off the cam...

PPS: Also, as to the lifter bore angle, the site says "or the angle of the lifter bore is not 90 degrees to the centerline of the cam" - the inference is that 90 degrees is the correct angle.
