Line the motor up so your driveshaft is at a decent angle. You can put shims under the motor mount pedestals as well as the tranny mount to get whatever angle you need. Also, intakes for webers (I know you don't have webers) on FE's come in two styles, the "cobra" one has a slight angle making the carbs angle forward a bit.
