Thumbs up Insurance for the snake

Background: I have been insured with State Farm Insurance for about 26 years, have lots of cars, trucks, trailers, property insured with them. When I first talked with them about insuring the Cobra they said maybe, fill this out, submit this, do that, this is non binding, we estimate the cost at $1200 a year, full coverage, 100/300/100, uninsured motorist, road side service etc. etc. etc. I have a good driving record and no recent claims.

Two weeks ago State Farm Insure the Cobra and here is what it took:
Fill out Application Free 1/2 hr. time
Appraisal $150 (Gerald Wuichet 707-255-8787)
Brake & Lamp Inspection $150
4 photos by the agent
1 dozen phone calls
$1200
10 working days of hand wringing while they decided yes/no.
There were no restrictions what so ever.

This was done at Sandy Barrow's State Farm agency in Woodland, CA.

Not cheap, but there were no mileage or storage restrictions as required other insurers. It was insured as a 2002 Roadster.
