I understand about interchangability. Many parts and components can be interchanged with more or less rework, like Fiat rods used in a Model T engine. Things can get a bit ridiculous here. I installed Chevy 1.94" intakes and 1.60" exhaust valves in my HP289 heads. Hey, if it's cheap and works, go for it. And here's a good one, blasphemous or not: What 99.9999% of the Ford folks don't know is sb Chevy heads were used on sb Ford prototype engines during the early experimental stages of testing! Truth is stranger than fiction.
