I have a 351 stroked to 396. The builder installed 10.5-1 billet pistons, h-beam rods, scat crank, aggressive solid cam and edelbrock heads w/ aluminum intake and 750 holley. It doesn't run real well on pump gas, but with the right mix it rips. Estimates are around 500 hp but I have not run it on the dyno at this point. After numerous runs in the vintage class and 1.5 years on the street, there is no leakdown problem and compression is holding at 280 +/- 3%.
We picked up a probe built 347 stroker with a steel crank, h-beams,forged 8.0-1 pistons and victor heads for our pro-street. With the roots style blower at 12 lb. we figure approximately 500 h.p.. With 23 lb. boost figures jump to 610 hp. We are finishing up the c-6 and will keep you posted on time slips sometime in the future.
