How about this..... Everyone that was planning on attending DVSF lll figure out how much they were planning on spending at the event.... hotel, transportation, food, raffle tickets, hats, t-shirts etc. . We cancel the event (DVSF lll)and send the money we all planned on spending directly to Cystic Fibrosis.
On the serious side....
You seem very passionate about the fund raising. I believe that all the money raised by this event goes to charity.. Compare it to some other fund raisers that take place run by professionals--- Small percentages go to the charity and the "Pros" take the lions share.. The "amateur" fund raisers at DVSF seem to be trying their best and doing a great job at it and it's not costing CF anything. Sounds like a plan to me..
