I have tried and somewhat done this on a EFI 302. I modeled the BBK kit that used the Eaton blower and mounted the MAF on the intake side of the charger, sucked through, and blew into the throttle body. I had a heck of a time making brackets to hold the blower on the left side (from the front of the car) engine and hold it well. BBK had the same trouble I think and I don't think the kit is made any more.

Mine worked, but needed a lot more engineering time on the brackets to make it livable. I didn't have the facilities to pull it off as well as I would have liked and abandoned it shortly after getting it on and going.

But, it can work and there is enough flow, the Eaton M90 is a good blower but the M112 would be even better for the 5.0L.

I'll see if I have any digital photos.
