The lbower has enough volume to produce good boost. The blower rev limit based on the compressor map I remember is about 12,000 RPM and you'd have to have a really tiny pulley to get that high. Check the Eaton site for compressor maps and efficieneies to calculate your engine RPM, blower RPM, and best points of efficiency. They used to have the compressor maps available years ago. If in doubt contact Magnesson who can help you out with anything on an Eaton.
As for manifolds, yes, it'd be hard if you tried ot duplicate the SC installation. But I just mounted the thing outboard of the alternator bracket and treated it like a centrifugal blower for that purpse and the same way BBK did it when they sold 5.0L kits with this blower. Get some old issues of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, you'll find the write ups in there with lots of pictures you can use to duplicate your brackets. That is what I did.
The M90 is 90 cubic inches, or 1.5L of blower. It can produce about 9lbs on a 5L, around 5-6lbs with the normal pulley (and standard crank pulley). But more importantly, it will produce throughout the rev range unlike the Paxtons, Vortechs, etc. All in all, I like the blowers better than the centrifgual types but you'll have to do some homework to mount them up.
