Wow! The Capital Area Cobra Club has an annual Frost Bite cruise on New Year's day. We cruise around DC w/ various photo stops, then finish the day at the Hawk & Dove bar (where all the capital hill muckity-mucks hang out). Well, this new years day we got about 2" of rain, so we decided to postpone until yesterday (1/5).
We weren't scared of the 20% chance of snow flurries. We're manly men (and women!). We thumped our chests and declared the cruise a "go". Little did we know what we were in for! We had 22 Cobras and a GT350 Stang signed up early in the week, but only 8 Cobras and the Stang braved the elements after hearing the forcast. They were probably the smarter members of our club.
So much for the "flurries"!!!!!! Some of us live closer to DC than others, but Beth and I put on 120 miles in the snow! Weird sensation in an open car.

I can't wait to do it again next year!
