I don't know what you mean by a standard 427 port. The Tunnel Wedge was originally made for the MR rectangular ports. Different 427 heads had different port configurations. Dove made Tunnel Wedges in all of the various configurations, including the oval port ie. , TP one, which will only work with TP heads. I think there is a Dove Tunnel Wedge on the Gessford.com site.
