Hi guys,
The engine in the Hot Rod article is using a tunnel wedge intake.
Although the photo is small, you can see that the intake does not have the longer center intake manifold bolt casting bosses. Also, the tunnel port has 6 intake bolts per side vs. the standard FE wedge head's 5 bolts. The Hot Rod article also dated the manifold from '64. It actually wasn't available till late '67/early '68. Typical Hot Rod B.S.
I supplied a photo of a tunnel port head vs. an Edelbrock head.
The Edelbrock head is representative of a standard FE/low/medium riser/CJ port configuration. THe TP is very different.
