Great stuff but I Do Not Agree with the one about air temp.
It has been my personal experience that a race motor set at the same timing mark will have a tendency to ping in cold weather as opposed to hot weather. The cold air is like an automatic timing advance therefore requiring more octane not less.
Any other opinions out there?
