I think what Bill was giving was the date of production order for the 427 engines.
'63 (late) 427 low-riser, center oiler, cast crank
'64 " hi-riser, center oiler, cast crank
'65 " SOHC, side oiler, forged crank
'65 (late) " medium-riser, side oiler, forged crank
'67 " tunnel port, side oiler, forged crank
'67 " hydraulic cam, low riser, cast crank

The Canadian "SK" 428CJ heads were (are) the holy grail of all 428 heads for NHRA stock and super stock racers. They work like gang busters.
