Thanks for the links. I have been trying to explain knock and octane ratings to a friend for a month and I am undoubtedly the worlds worst person to try and explain anything. I may understand it but I just can't explain it so anyone else can. Anyway I refered him to the links you provided and now he understands a lot more. Boy, would I have ever made a terrible teacher.
