Bill, I talked to Currie this morning about the brackets you need. There were several 9" housings from Ford and not all of them will work. You need to determine which housing you have. If you give Currie a call they can help in identifying what you have. The cost to add the brackets is under $200 but you have to get the housing to them so you would need to disassemble the rear. It is a pretty easy job. I can walk you through it. Since you already have the rear end and probably can't return it I would use what you have and bite the bullet for the cost. p.s. Check the width of the rear. It should measure 60" from axel flange to axel flange.
