We must all have the same books. I can't find the number either. Southern Automotive has a service block NOS, not a C5ae-block. I beleive their block is a C8ae-0 casting which means that it's ribbed and is set up for hydraulic lifters. Good block but if it's not going to be accurate anyway go for the Shelby! Save some weight too!
