I am trying to put together a 347 engine for my Cobra kit car. I reading everything I can and still don't really understand duration in relationship to idle etc. I want a cam that comes on about 2200-6000 rpm with a rough idle. I can't translate that into duration , lift, lobe centers, etc.
Comp Cam 280H sounds like, on paper, what I want. Lunati Cam offers the "Bracket Master"- sounds good but has two versions, one has a .488 lift and the other .512 lift. I don't know which one would be the better choice.
