Default SBF clutch fastener learning experience

I am currently putting in a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and FRPP billet flywheel into my 95 mustang cobra. When using a diaphram clutch, it is suggested that dows be used. There are two sets of threads on most aftermarket flywheels - one metric (M8x1.25) and one SAE. When using the dows, one must use the metric bolts. No one sells the bolts except Ford. ARP does make the SAE threaded ones. The SAE bolt will go into the metric hole a few turns and then gets hard to turn. Apparently this has driven the mustang guys nuts (www.corral.net). They always get the SAE pieces from ARP and try to force them into the metric hole and end up breaking bolts off in the flywheel. It would be easy to just knock the dows out and use the SAE holes, but I have been told that the dows are there to get the clutch balance just right. Plus they help protect against shearing. Just thought I would share for future reference
