I have a Trick flow stage one roller cam (TFS-51402000)in my 5.0 explorer motor. It has a nice lope at idle and comes on strong at about 2000. The power peak is 5500 rpm.

From the Summit racing website the cam specs out at:
Duration at .050 in. lift: 221 intake/225 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .499 in. intake/.510 in. exhaust
* Lobe Separation: 112 degrees
* RPM Range: 2,000 to 5,500

Sounds like a good match for you and this cam only costs $140 from Summit Racing.
