I've wrestled with stuck spinners on many cars, bought expensive $275 Aluminum billet tool (Looked Great but...did not work), lead hammers and looked at all of the permutations of a spinner tool there have come my way over the last tens years.

This design came form Rick427 and Alan has been good enough to refine and use the facilities of his crane building business to manufacture this hand held very effective tool. I don't know what the revenue sharing agreement is between Rick and Alan and I probably do not want to know.

Pop out the center button (held in by O-rings) stick the shaft in, slide the slots over all three of the ears of the spinner , hold the shaft and tap the spinner off with a hammer on the long ears at the rear of the tool well outside the fender well and that delicate fiberglass or aluminum.

It does leave a small dent at the bottom of the ear....You can see it if you bend over and look close. It does tighten the ear on better than using a lead hammer since you can gauge how much pressure you are putting on the spinner and you can remove the spinner after it has run on the car for some time and galled itself in place. BTW I have used this tool on SPF, Trigo on Unique, Arntz and Contemporary cars.

I used Rick427 's tool and bought one of Alan's for my garage....I let my opinion be expressed with my pocket book. With this tool you won't bend or break the ears...you will get them on tight and you will get them off when you want to.
