Maybe you can explain this to me. Maybe I just don't get it.

I drive a 1999 Corvette with 350 HP aluminum V8, huge tires and 2.66 lock to lock power steering. (16:1 ratio) It's a pleasure to drive, I love the quick steering response and awesome handling.

The car is also very short wheelbase. (104.5 inches) and it's not that heavy, about 3200 lbs

So why is it that everyone says that power steering is too much for the Cobra? How does it matter that it only weighs 2500 lbs, when it has a 460 over the front wheels? My 1991 Civic with manual slow (3.75 turns lock to lock) is a pain to drive, no steering response and sooo heavy when manuvering at low speeds and much lighter than the Cobra with a 1.5 liter 4 banger under the hood. . . .

What am I missing?
